Little Free Food Pantry at Saint John’s
Saint John's, Arlington, is considering placing a Little Free Food Pantry on its property and is inviting Saint Patrick’s to join in the conversation. The open-access pantry holds about 9 cubic feet of non-perishables, and would be available for anyone at any time without restrictions. The immediate availability of foodstuffs would address a gap in resources for those in need in the larger community. Saint John's hosted an initial gathering in March, and Little Free Food Pantry conversations continue. The whole community will have the chance to ask general questions and raise concerns on Thursday, May 9th. If you are interested in participating in the conversation, please be in touch with the Reverend Julie at 703 336-2255. All meetings will take place at Saint John’s.
Saint John’s Book Club
The Saint John’s Book Club has begun to read ‘A Woman of NO Importance,’ the story of an American socialite who became integral to the French Resistance during World War II. The Club will discuss this book Tuesday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m. at Saint John’s. All are invited.
